INDIES is first and foremost a high-end women’s ready-to-wear group, based in Provence, which has been designing and distributing its own collections for over 50 years.
One of the great strengths of the group is still today its integrated design office: stylists, pattern makers, seamstresses design the collections in the historical workshop, with half a century of French know-how drawing its inspiration from travels, the richness and creativity of local craft talents as well as the cultural diversity of the Mediterranean.
The manufacturing of our collections is entrusted to our partners in Europe and the Mediterranean Basin, recognized for their skills and who share with us the same desire to produce in a more responsible manner.
Our two original and colorful brands INDIES & BLEU BLANC ROUGE are the very reflection of our values: Elegance, Timelessness and Family Spirit. They combine femininity, lightness and modernity while being designed with respect for the environment.
BLEU BLANC ROUGE is associated with a creative, chic and dressy style.
INDIES with a more urban and sportswear style.
The success of the collections led to the opening of boutiques dedicated to the brand in 1972, followed by the development of its distribution through a network of multi-brand retailers (currently 109). In 2008, the group accelerated its development with the opening of its own boutiques under the INDIES brand (14 points of sale in France) and through a franchising system (25 points of sale).
The website www.indies.fr was launched in 2013 and offers omnichannel access to our customers. The Group is also present internationally in 25 countries. In 2022, Anne de Gravelaine and her husband Philippe Rigal bought this beautiful French company with the will to give it a new dynamic while capitalizing on its many existing strengths.
Our secret? The technical jersey, with stretchy and breathable material, inspired from the swimwear world and used in most of our models.
This quality material, manufactured in Italy, gives our products undeniable assets: clothing that doesn’t wrinkle and that is comfortable and easy to wear every day.
